Privacy Policy

1) What we collect​

​

  • Identifiers and contact: name, email.

  • Billing information: billing address and limited payment metadata. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers or CVV; payments are processed by our provider (Wix Payments).

  • Usage and device: pages viewed, links clicked, IP address, cookie identifiers, browser and device information, language, approximate location.

  • Marketing preferences: newsletter opt-ins and opt-outs.

  • Sensitive Personal Information (California): not collected. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide required links.
     

Sources. From you through a form on our Site; automatically via cookies and similar technologies; and from service providers acting on our behalf.

2) Why and how we use personal information

We collect only what is necessary for serious and legitimate purposes, including:

  • Operate the site and services, process payments, provide features, and support; 

  • Maintain security and prevent fraud; 

  • Perform measurement and analytics to understand how the Site is used and improve the Services

  • Marketing communications when consented to; 

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.


We use information only for the purposes identified at collection or for a consistent purpose. 

If you are in the EU/UK: we process your personal data only where we have a lawful basis under the GDPR, including: contract (to provide the services you request), legal obligation, legitimate interests (e.g., security, debugging, non-personalized measurement, balanced against your rights), and consent (e.g., non-essential cookies/analytics and marketing emails).

California sell/share status: We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3) Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential Site operations, analytics, and, with consent where required, for personalization.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Measurement only. We do not enable Google Signals, Ads Personalization, or Remarketing, and we do not share GA audiences to advertising platforms.

Consent controls. We do not set non-essential cookies unless you opt in via our cookie banner. You can change cookie choices at any time via the consent preferences button at the bottom left of our Site.

4) Disclosures and international transfers

We share personal information with:

  • Wix.com Ltd. for website hosting, platform features, content delivery network, forms, and payment processing.

  • Google LLC for analytics (GA4 measurement only).
     

Service providers act under our instructions, must protect confidentiality, and delete or return data at the end of their mandate. These providers operate globally with data centers in North America and Europe using major cloud providers. 

We may also disclose information to authorities and professional advisers where required by law, and to a successor in a merger or acquisition, subject to under safeguards.

Transfers outside your region:

  • Québec. Your personal information may be communicated outside Québec (for example, to our hosting and analytics providers). Before doing so, we conduct a privacy impact assessment and implement contractual safeguards.

  • EU/UK. We rely on adequacy decisions where available or on Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures as needed. You can obtain a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.

  • Other regions (including U.S.). We use appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.
     

5) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity, purposes, quantity, and medium of personal information (for example, access controls, encryption in transit, logging, least-privilege access). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

6) Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to comply with legal requirements. When no longer needed, we destroy it or anonymize it for legitimate purposes using recognized best practices, following documented retention schedules: 

  • Analytics (GA4): up to 14 months, then deleted by Google. Aggregated reports may persist without user-level data.

  • Billing records: contract term plus up to 7 years for tax or audit.
     

7) Your privacy choices and how to contact us

You can change your cookie choices at any time via the consent preferences button at the bottom left of our Site.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the link in any message.
You may request access, deletion, correction, or a copy of your personal information by emailing ownyourbecoming@gmail.com. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days.

8) Confidentiality incidents

If we have reason to believe that a confidentiality incident has occurred, we take action to mitigate risk and prevent recurrence. If the incident poses a risk of serious injury, we notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals, and maintain a register of incidents.

9) Children

Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

10) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We will post updates on this page and use appropriate means to disseminate notice of significant changes. The Effective date above shows when this Privacy Policy last changed.

You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
