Mission

I work with people who want to understand themselves more clearly so they can move forward without forcing change.

With a background in systems thinking and ontology, I approach personal growth the same way I approach any complex system. We map what is actually happening, identify what is getting in the way, and build a way forward that can be sustained.

I coach in real life, not in theory.

Method

My work focuses on awareness first, then aligned action.

​

Rather than prescribing solutions or rigid plans, we pay attention to what shows up as you move toward what matters.

 

Patterns, resistance, emotion, and capacity are treated as information, not problems to eliminate.

 

The goal is not to force change, but to create conditions where choice becomes more available, and follow-through can build over time.

Therapy vs Coaching

Therapy and coaching both support change, but they serve different purposes and are appropriate at different moments.

Therapy​

 

Therapy is the right place to start when something feels unmanageable or destabilizing.

​

Therapy may be appropriate if:

​

  • Your emotional state regularly interferes with daily functioning
     

  • You feel overwhelmed, unsafe, or unable to regulate distress
     

  • You are working through unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, or panic
     

  • The past continues to intrude on the present in ways that limit daily life
     

Therapy focuses on stabilization, healing, and restoring capacity. It supports movement from not functioning well toward functioning again.

Coaching

 

Coaching is for people who are generally functioning and want to move forward more consciously and deliberately.

Coaching may be a fit if:

​

  • You function day to day but feel stuck, constrained, or inconsistent with action
     

  • You sense something wants to change, even if the path is not yet clear
     

  • You want to move toward a goal, direction, or deeper expression of what matters
     

  • You are ready to take responsibility for your choices and work with what shows up as you act
     

Coaching works from where you are now.
It focuses on awareness, choice, and follow-through as patterns arise in real time.

Certifications

ICM Certified

(ICF-Accredited) 

Wendy is a graduate of the Institute of Coaching Mastery, a trauma informed coaching program founded by Alyssa Nobriga. ICM emphasizes presence, nervous-system awareness, emotional integration, and working directly with lived experience. This training refined Wendy’s ability to stay with what is happening in the moment and support change that is embodied, not just understood intellectually.

IPEC Certified 

(ICF-Accredited) 

Wendy is a Certified Professional Coach through iPEC’s coach training program, fully aligned with the International Coaching Federation’s core competencies and standards. This credential reflects rigorous, globally recognized training in coaching skills that help clients move from awareness to action.

Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner

As a certified ELI Master Practitioner, Wendy is trained to use the Energy Leadership Index assessment, a research-backed tool that reveals how someone shows up under stress and where habitual patterns originate. She uses this to help clients see their tendencies clearly and shift them toward more productive, sustainable ways of operating.

Core Energy Coaching Methodology

Wendy’s coaching draws on iPEC’s Core Energy Coaching approach, which uncovers the internal beliefs and patterns that drive behavior, not just surface goals. This gives her the ability to help people address what is really holding them back and build change from the inside out.

Master of Engineering, Computer Engineering

Wendy holds a Master in computer engineering, which informs how she works with change: identifying patterns, clarifying constraints, and turning complexity into practical steps. This supports clients who want depth with structure, and insight they can actually apply.

Culinary Nutrition Expert (Honors)

Wendy holds a Culinary Nutrition Expert certificate with honors from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, giving her a practical understanding of how food and nutrition habits connect to energy, mood, and daily functioning.
